How does the currency of a particular country fluctuate?

how does currency fluctuate? why do peole say that china fixes the value of its currency and how does it help china's exports?|||Depends on a variety of economic factors. Every country has its own reasons for fluctuations.|||depends on the country|||It means how much money(paper) is literally produced and circulated. How a value on the world market goe sup and down is how much investment it's getting on the world market. If no more money is being produced then more people cant own any more than they do now. IT helps China by making their market more predictable by making their currencry drops smaller. (This is what I believe I am not 100%)

I advise checking out the internet and economy models for more info.

As to exports I'm not sure... :S|||it fluctuates by comparison of internal economies around the world. a US dollar might be stronger than a particular currency because the US dollar has more spending power than other countries. if you compare your dollar to a 3rd world currency, your dollar power will increase dramatically because money may be scarce in that country. it fluctuates around the average world economy
