I think you will find that rate to be a 'business rate' therefore %26lt; %26gt; 鈧?.04 higher than the tourist exchange rate.

Note the rate is a rate. If you went to 5 different banks the rate would be different so it really doesn't matter much as long as its close.|||note that xe.com give the mid rate (that ONLY the Nationwide building society uses for cash with drawls from ATM's abroad, no fees


the am-ex tourist rate is what you WILL get if you exchange at a bank, post office etc.


If you are planning on travelling, have a Nationwide bank account, you will always get at least 4% more foreign currency for your pound!
